Paolo Campana is helping the earthquake victims, one bowl of pasta at a time. He launched the idea on his Facebook page hours after the earthquake destroyed Amatrice.
He suggested that Italians donate 1 euro (1.48 AUD) for every bowl of all’amatriciana spaghetti to help with the relief efforts, after the town where this dish originated was badly hit.
It has taken off, and #eatforitaly could be coming to an Italian restaurant near you soon.
Lee Marshall, travel journalist joins RN Drive with Paolo’s story.
